Quick answer
November is one of the best months to travel: winter weather sets in across the north, the monsoon is over almost everywhere except the south-east coast, and prices dip after Diwali week. In India, pick Pushkar for its camel fair, Varanasi for Dev Deepawali, or the Andaman Islands. Abroad, choose Dubai, Thailand for Loy Krathong, or Japan for autumn leaves.
