Why travellers choose Europe
The density is the point. In two weeks you can stand under the Eiffel Tower, ride a cogwheel train into the Swiss Alps, walk through a Roman forum and eat dinner beside a canal in Amsterdam — without a single long-haul flight between them.
Distances that look intimidating on a map are frequently a two-hour train ride. That changes what a holiday can contain, and it is why we build European routes around rail and coach rather than internal flights wherever it makes sense.
Indian food is easier to find than most first-time visitors expect, particularly in London, Paris, Zurich, Frankfurt and Rome. On our escorted departures we arrange Indian meals wherever the route allows and are upfront about the stretches where it is not practical.
What not to miss in Europe
- The Swiss Alps — Jungfraujoch, Mount Titlis and the Glacier Express — the scenery most travellers remember longest.
- Paris — The Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, a Seine cruise and Disneyland Paris for families.
- Rome and Vatican City — The Colosseum, the Roman Forum and St Peter's Basilica in a single walkable core.
- Amsterdam — Canal cruises, Keukenhof's tulips in spring and the Zaanse Schans windmills.
- Venice — St Mark's Square, the Grand Canal and a gondola ride that is worth the cliché.
- Austria and Bavaria — Innsbruck, Salzburg and the fairy-tale castles of southern Germany.
When to travel
April to June brings long days, mild weather and spring flowers, and is the most popular window with Indian travellers. September and October are quieter and often cheaper, with excellent light for photography. December offers Christmas markets and snow but very short days. July and August are warmest and busiest — book early or accept crowds.
Entry and paperwork
Most of Europe is covered by the Schengen visa, which allows travel across 27 countries on a single application. The United Kingdom and Ireland require separate visas. Schengen appointments are heavily booked in the March-to-June rush and applications should begin at least eight to ten weeks ahead. Our documentation desk prepares and reviews the full file, including the covering letter, itinerary and financial evidence.
Planning a Europe trip with Elitech Travels
Every Europe itinerary on this page is a starting point rather than a fixed product. Extend a city, change the hotel category, add a private guide or merge two routes and we will re-cost the trip and send a revised plan. Because we publish no departure dates, your holiday is operated in the window that suits your leave — tell us roughly when you want to travel and we confirm availability and pricing for exactly those days.
