We would rather put your budget into a hotel you can walk out of into the old town than into a five-star box beside a ring road. Location first, then room category, then everything else. On multi-city routes we will often recommend one fewer city and two more nights — the trip improves and the cost frequently falls.

Private, not group

Private vehicles with an English-speaking driver, private guides who are historians rather than script-readers, restaurant tables booked weeks ahead, skip-the-line access where it genuinely exists, and airport fast-track where it is offered. You move on your schedule.

Properties we know

We book landmark hotels and small luxury properties we have inspected or sent travellers to repeatedly. Where a property is having a bad year — a renovation, a change of management — we will tell you, even if it is the famous name you had in mind.

Is a luxury tour just a five-star hotel?

No. The hotel matters, but the difference you feel day to day comes from private transport, a good guide, sensible pacing and someone having pre-solved the queues and reservations.

Can you book business-class flights?

Yes, along with premium economy and mixed-cabin routings. We will show you the genuine fare difference so you can decide where the upgrade is worth it — often it is the long overnight leg only.

Why do luxury packages show 'price on request'?

Because room category, season and group size move the number too much for a single honest figure. We quote individually so the price you see is the price you pay.
