When to travel

November to March is the dry season across most of the region and the most reliable window. April and May are hot but quieter and cheaper. The monsoon from June to October brings short heavy afternoon downpours rather than all-day rain, and prices drop noticeably — for Bali and Thailand this can be excellent value if you can be flexible.

Entry and paperwork

Entry is comparatively simple. Thailand and Malaysia offer visa-free or visa-on-arrival access for Indian passport holders under current rules; Indonesia offers visa-on-arrival for Bali; Singapore and Vietnam require an e-visa applied for in advance. Rules in this region change more often than most, so we confirm current requirements for your passport before every booking.
