Cabin grade is the decision

An inside cabin and a balcony on the same ship are two different holidays. We explain what each grade gives you, where it sits on the ship, and whether the balcony earns its premium on that particular itinerary — on short Southeast Asian sailings it often does not; on Alaska or the Norwegian fjords it certainly does.

The real cost

Gratuities, drinks packages, specialty dining, shore excursions, Wi-Fi and port charges are usually extra, and together they can add substantially to a headline fare. We show the realistic all-in figure so you can compare cruises honestly.

Indian dining and visas

Several lines carry Indian menus and dedicated vegetarian options; others genuinely do not. We tell you which before you book. We also check every port of call against your passport, since some countries require a visa even if you never disembark.
