Wildlife travel is the category where a day's difference in planning changes everything. Animals move on their own schedule; parks close on fixed days; safari permits sell out; and the difference between the core zone and a buffer zone is the difference between a sighting and a drive.

Permits and zones

In Indian tiger reserves, we book core-zone permits where they matter and explain which zones are genuinely productive. We plan around weekly closure days and seasonal park closures rather than discovering them on arrival. In East Africa, we time itineraries to the migration's realistic position rather than the brochure version.

How many safaris you actually need

One safari is a lottery ticket. Four or five across two parks turns a hopeful trip into a likely one. We would rather sell you fewer parks and more drives in each.

Where we operate

Ranthambore, Bandhavgarh, Kanha, Pench, Tadoba, Jim Corbett, Kaziranga and Gir within India; Kenya's Masai Mara, Tanzania's Serengeti and Ngorongoro, South Africa's Kruger and the private reserves, Botswana's Okavango and Sri Lanka's Yala and Wilpattu internationally.

Good to know

Wildlife & Safari Tours — FAQs

Will I definitely see a tiger?
No, and anyone who promises otherwise is selling something. What we can do is maximise your odds: the right parks, the right zones, the right season and enough drives. Most travellers doing four to six drives across two reserves have a good experience.
When is the best season?
For Indian tiger reserves, the hotter months from March onwards concentrate animals around water and improve sightings, though the comfort is lower. For East Africa, the migration's position drives timing. We advise per park rather than generically.
Are safaris suitable for children?
Older children usually love them. Very young children find the early starts and long silent drives hard, and some private reserves in Africa set minimum ages. We will tell you what applies to your chosen park.

Not seeing quite the right itinerary?

Most of what we sell started as a custom request. Tell us what you have in mind and we will build it around your dates and budget.
