• Gardens by the Bay — The Cloud Forest and Flower Dome by day, the Supertree light show after dark — go for the 7:45 pm showing.
• Sentosa Island — Universal Studios, S.E.A. Aquarium, Adventure Cove and the Skyline Luge. Easily two full days if you have children.
• Marina Bay Sands SkyPark — The best panorama of the bay, particularly in the half hour before sunset.
• Singapore Zoo and Night Safari — Consistently ranked among the world's best. The Night Safari tram is a genuinely different experience.
• Jewel Changi Airport — The Rain Vortex and canopy park — worth arriving early or scheduling a stopover for.
• Little India and Chinatown — Sri Veeramakaliamman Temple, Tekka Centre and Chinatown's food streets — the city's most characterful hours.

When to travel

Singapore is warm and humid year-round with no real off-season, so travel whenever suits your leave. February to April is marginally drier. November and December see more rain but it arrives as short heavy showers rather than washed-out days. Late May to July brings the Great Singapore Sale, and hotel rates spike around Formula 1 in September.

Entry and paperwork

Indian passport holders require a Singapore visa, applied for in advance through an authorised agent. Processing is typically three to five working days. A confirmed return ticket, hotel bookings and financial evidence are required, and our documentation desk assembles and checks the complete file.
