These pilgrimage & spiritual itineraries in Varanasi are built by consultants who sell the destination regularly and know which routes hold up in practice. Each one publishes the duration, the cities, the inclusions and the hotel category — and no dates, because we operate them when it suits you.

The oldest living city. Every itinerary below can be adjusted: extend a city, change the hotel category, add a private guide or merge two routes. Send an enquiry and we will re-cost it and reply within a working day.

Best time to visit Varanasi

October to March is the comfortable window, with pleasant days and cool evenings. Dev Deepawali in November, when the ghats are lit with thousands of lamps, is extraordinary but extremely crowded and requires booking months ahead. April to June is very hot. The monsoon raises the river and can close some ghats entirely.
