Kempegowda International Airport (BLR) to Dabolim Airport (GOI) or Manohar International Airport, Mopa (GOX) (GOI). Fares are typical starting one-way economy prices booked 3–6 weeks ahead outside peak dates — live prices vary by the hour.

Mopa (GOX) or Dabolim (GOI)?

Goa's two airports are about 60 km apart. Choose by where you're staying, not by which flight is ₹300 cheaper:

  • Mopa (Manohar International, GOX): best for Morjim, Ashwem, Mandrem and Arambol (30–50 minutes), and fine for Anjuna, Vagator, Baga and Calangute (45–75 minutes).
  • Dabolim (GOI): best for Colva, Benaulim, Majorda and Cavelossim (25–45 minutes), and for Palolem or Agonda (1.5–2 hours).
  • Panaji: either airport, 45–60 minutes.

A taxi from Mopa to Calangute costs about ₹1,600–2,200; from Dabolim to Colva, about ₹900–1,300. The wrong airport can add an hour and ₹1,500. Use the GoaMiles app or prepaid counters.

Which airlines fly Bengaluru to Goa?

IndiGo, Air India Express and Akasa Air fly non-stop several times a day from Kempegowda International, split between the two Goa airports. Non-stops are frequent, so there's no reason to connect.

Best flight timings

Bengaluru's airport is 1–2 hours from much of the city, so a midday flight avoids the worst traffic at both ends and gets you to the beach before sunset.

Baggage

All three include 7 kg cabin and 15 kg checked on standard fares, with food for sale. Air India Express's cheapest 'Lite' fares are cabin-only, which works for a short beach break.

When to book

Book 3–6 weeks ahead; for Christmas, New Year and long weekends, 8–12 weeks. July to September is cheapest. Overnight trains and buses take 12–15 hours.

Tips for families and seniors
